The Mountain Dell Golf course is turned into a great Cross Country Skiing area during the winter months.  A group of volunteer groomers from the Utah Nordic Alliance tries to set both skate and classic track every day during the winter. Thanks TUNA!

There are 5 different loops you can ski on.  Each varies in length and difficulty:

Main: 1.63 Miles -Easier

Mitten: .52 miles - Easier

Lollipop: .66 miles - Easier

Creek: 1.42 miles - More difficult

Lower: 2.31 miles - Difficult

Some of the loops overlap or require you to ski part of another loop to get to them.  A few cutoffs have been made between a couple of the loops. And the lower loop has a cutoff to make it shorter.

TUNA asks that you pay $5 each day you ski.  Overall its a great deal for a nice place to ski.

To get there take the Mountain Dell Exit off of I-80 in Parley's Canyon.  Then just follow the signs to the clubhouse parking lot.  The Fee post is to the east of the sledding hill, next to a bullitin board with maps and other information about TUNA.

Sledding Hill

The Mountain Dell sledding hill is several hundred yards long.  Despite it's size, it can get crowded on the weekends after a good snow.  The hill isn't maintained by any organization, so it is free to sled on.
